Controller Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee business day to day financial operations in order to maximize profit and minimize costs
  • Perform financial reporting, auditing, operational metrics in financial tracking  
  • Responsible for forecasting and planning  of the Company
  • Analyze financial date and create financial models for decisions support
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for leadership reviews
  • Analyze past results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Establish close relationships with external CPA, Company Banks and other external stakeholders
  • Ensure processes are in place to comply with all financial regulations
  • Maintain positive interdepartmental relationships with leadership as well as operations in order to provide full support  

 

Education/Skills/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, Master’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • 5-7 years in accounting required
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is required
  • Prior experience in automation service industry is preferred
  • Previous acquisition experience is a plus
  • CPA license is desired but not required
  • Demonstrates a positive “can do” demeanor, is highly driven and can work independently
  • The ability to use good judgment and handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Communicates effectively with Leadership Team regarding financial status and provide financial recommendations
