Digital Service Center Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Oversees the Digital Service Center service specialists, including recruiting, manpower scheduling, utilization and/or cost control, that remotely resolve issues for our customers on the Building Automation/Security systems.  
  • Proactively communicates to customers on a regular basis and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction within the Digital Service Center.  
  • Implements programs to make the Service Department run more effectively and efficiently. 
  • Maintains good customer relations, including prompt response to customer requests and maintains frequent customer contact.  
  • Reviews customer satisfaction surveys to measure and track customer satisfaction levels. Responsible for the administration of remote services, and/or colleagues who support estimating, pricing, quoting, order processing, payroll processing, service billings and collections. Carefully monitors all financial aspects of the service center (utilization).  
  • Completes accurate and detailed service reports / project reports for the customer and the organization in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking. 
  • Provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, system audits and consultation. 
  • Participate in the setup, upgrades and configuration of PC workstations, user interfaces, data servers, IP networking devices, protocols, routers, switches, mass storage devices and hubs. Confirm proper network performance. 
  • Communicates effectively with and works with the other members of the team consistently to improve overall operations of the Service Department and company. 
  • Supervises colleagues in a manner that maintains morale, skills proficiency, and productivity. Recruit and hire colleagues as required. May perform limited range of managerial responsibilities including but not limited to mentoring, coaching, and developing colleagues; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; project budget.  

Digital Service Center Supervisor Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Preferred certifications/training in Siemens Desigo CC or Tridium.   
  • 5-10 years of experience with Building Automation systems startup/service (Siemens, ABB) and/or Security Systems. 
  • 1-3 years of supervisor/management experience. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
