Sales Development Representative Position Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting activities, including finding and making first contact with new potential clients.
  • Manage and execute sales and marketing campaigns across platforms such as email, social media, etc.
  • Educate prospects on DAC culture, as well as the products and services we provide.
  • Become an expert on our products and services and be able to provide dynamic presentations and demos with the end goal of moving the sales process forward.
  • Qualify prospects based on product and service fit, culture fit, and financial means.
  • Set sales meetings for qualified opportunities and facilitate the entire sales process.
  • Maintain close communication and working relationship with entire sales organization to close the sale.
  • Maintain opportunity, client, and account information in the DAC CRM.

Sales Development Representative Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Associate degree (A.S.) or advanced certification in cybersecurity, IT, or related fields, preferred.
  • Minimum of (1) year previous and relevant sales or operations experience in the digital/IT field required.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills. Ability to professionally present topics of interest to potential clients or other interested parties.
  • Exceptional written communication skills. Ability to produce concise, consistently formatted proposals and other documents with no spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Complete understanding of Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint programs with no instruction.
  • High level of self-motivation. Ability to independently manage time and effort without supervision to meet all commitments and exceed goals.
